Back
in 2001 I (Jur) started the first website www.ada-mp1.com
about the ADA MP-1 pre-amp. I just purchased one and figured
it was an amazing piece of gear, but with not that much info
available. At that time the website Ultimatetone.com
owned by Jamie was the only resource on the web with ADA info.
I decided to add some more info about the MP-1 and found a
dutch ex-distributor who had still some paperwork and parts
lying around. I bought this bunch and made a little online
shop for those who were in the need for parts.
In the meanwhile someone told me that Nady systems in the
US also had some NOS gear lying around. I contacted John Nady
and made a deal to buy some the gear he had plus all paperwork
(schematics, adverts and more) he had lying around. Since
then the stock he still has is available for sale on the website.
Everything went quick, I was pointed again to an ex-distributor
, this time in Belgium with a LOT of interesting gear lying
around and made again a deal to sell it on this website. What
the man had was pretty interesting stuff and he could tell
me lots of historical ADA things. Since the gear is in the
shop and other things, I considered the URL www.ada-mp1.com
wasn't a good one for a resource like this, Steve Clifford
came up with the name: adadepot.com..... . |
