Hey guys I'm kind of new, and I have an MP-1 in PERFECT condition. I was thinking about doing one of the high gain mods which causes more noise. So I was just wondering if anyone had the mod done from http://www.marshalljmpmodshop.net/ and knows how quiet it makes the MP-1?

use the search box and you'll find plenty of threads regarding the noise mod. Many of us have it on our preamps and it works very well.

Here's my 2 cents.  After recently doing the noise mod, it's an absolutely critical mod.  I could NOT go back.

As for the mod kit from marshalljmp, he's THE technical guru that most of us here refer to when we don't know the answer.  He's basically "the man".  So if it's a kit from him, it's top shelf.

I actually live in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic, but I guess it would be easier to ship it to a PO BOX in Miami and then ship it here.
