No websites yet, but that is something I definitely want to get into in the not-so-distant future. I think I should have some decent sounding CD's available before I start building a website.
   Recording and printing is next on the agenda

As I suspected, The Road Kings are not going to be working again.  It's alright though, I've been toying with the idea of getting back into my earlier group that was known as "Band of Heathens"
    That was a more rewarding experience for me since all the tunes were original compositions. It was tougher because most of the writing duties fell on my shoulders, but when the tunes came together, it was awesome!
   I still have those songs, but they need to be re-recorded, and mastered. As they are right now, they're very rough.
    That's why I'm looking into the Lexicon Omega. Between working at home and in the studio, I should be able to eventually get the sound on disc that we'd get live 8-)

What kind of music your band covers and what would you say the mp-1 classic do best? For the last 3 years I've been with a band for fun (friends musicians getting off) where we played from  Bowie to Queen to Eurythmics(??) to Oingo Boingo... I was constantly complimented on my sound and really think was doing great with it... very versatile preamp don't you agree?

Absolutely, I would'nt change anything about the Classic excpt the tubes when it needs it. 8-)

Yeah... My only complain was that I felt I could use a little extra drive sometimes... then in november a guy came after me to buy it from me as he was about to record and wanted a classic and couldn't find it. Our band had just took a brake and I had just done a MOD4 to a original MP-1, plus I was bored. Sold it.

BIG mistake. Now I am trying to get one again from Barry here at the depot...

I've made that mistake with a lot of different gear, you're not alone. One thing I found though, The MP-1 Classic seemed to produce plenty of gain for recording. That's one of the things I like about it the most, it's the most flexible preamp I've ever owned.
    At least I realized that very early and never considered selling it. In fact, I bought a second one shortly after I found out ADA went down
