BH, I thought your part fit in nicely. I kinda dug the off timing of it within the mix.

What part of the solo is the one that Jurrie played?

Since the poll, as for what backing track to use, had the original part including including Jurrie's solo, I thought it was known. I didn't consider the fact that not everyone was aware of this. Good point.

The first solo is the one that Jurrie did.

The first solo is the one that Jurrie did.
And the drum programming, and the bass  top

My part (mastering) in this is very small in comparison to the mammoth task that SAN had mixing it (and hassling members for their parts  fing2) so kuds where it's due  icon_bow

Glad you guys liked it.  As mentioned I enjoyed being a part of this one and I don't want to sound like a complainer. I know all the hours of work that must have went into this and would like to thank San & Peter for taking on such a task.  Great job guys!  This wouldn't have been possible without the awesome track that Jurrie supplied.  His song crafting skills where top notch.

This Is all so very cool!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
The variety of solo's.
All different approaches.
Have to listen a dozen times more to understand what's all going on here.

But first.......SAN...you did such a tremendous good job on this one.
The time and energy and above all....patience.
Really hats of for you mate.
Besides the cutting and pasting you also delivers some fine soloing.

I'm proud to be a part of this one.
Thanx all you great players.
I'll return later for a more detailed review of this masterpiece.

I listened to this a couple more times today & I am truly humbled by the talent around here.  icon_bow

I also found that I kept on looking back & forth between the timer and the list of "who's playing" just to figure out who I was listening to. Great fun.

Definitely worth many repeat listens.

SAN, thanks for putting this together and in quick fashion too, I might add.

I have nothing but compliments for everyone's playing; I expected some good stuff and it was delivered.  But 2 players jumped out at me as being the "Surprise, surprise!" this time around:

Peter!   Your fingers DO fit on tiny strings!   lol    Grin  (You're getting even with me because my prior Jam contribution was a bass solo, aren't you?)  NICE!!

I try hard to do something just a bit different each time I contribute to a Jam...something just a little on the outside of what others might anticipate of me.  However, with that said I have never ever considered submitting a backwards track for a Jam and now I wish I would've thought of that.  So this years Sandbagging Award goes to Dante!  icon_bow  Sick, slick, and trick.

Awesome work by all, Jur would be proud. Cool icon_bow

amazing job everyone. Can't stop listening to this.... it's been a really tough day as my sister's boyfriend lost his battle to cancer this afternoon. I'm really broken up for her and it brought this jam right back into perspective. It floors me to hear Jur play and know that his legacy lives on. It makes me incredibly proud to be included on this. Thank you all very much.

I can honestly say that this forum and the folks in it are among the most genuine I've had the pleasure of knowing. May whatever god, goddess, wind, wave, tree or toad you pray to protect you and yours tonight.

I'll give my kudos to individual performances later. Sorry to kinda hijack the thread for a moment.

I wish I could take credit for that, but it was all Sanders doing...he deserves all the credit for that one. Somehow, the first note was chopped off my part & he improvised it. All hail the mighty SAN  icon_bow

I guess you could say he SANbagged that one (sorry, couldn't resist the obvious pun)

So Sorry to hear about that, Panda ! !
My condolances to you, your sister and close family and friends.

(There's no way to avoid a huge leap from one subject to another in this post, but..)
Nice work on the jam mate, good to have you involved.

Hahahaha, let's just say it was a team effort This trick I learned from Jurrie when we were working on finishing a jam we organized before. It wouldn't even cross my minds if there wasn't something to be creative about, so that's where you step in Dante guitar Very cool you guys like it!
