Dude, are you trying to p!ss people off? If so, you're doin a good job. If you're tryin to make friends around here...you need some people skills. What kind of reception to expect to get with a comment like "ADA power amps are over rated"?

Have you tried an ADA amp? When you did, were you using an ADA preamp? I think you'll find the gurus at the ol' ADA had their sh!t together enough to know what works. ADA preamps pair VERY nicely with ADA poweramps.

I have paired an MP-1 with a B200s (SS amp) and got wonderful results. Then, I ran my MP-2 through the B200s & it sounded amazing. Now, I run an MP-2 through a T100s and again, get GREAT results. I get compliments on my tone AT EVERY GIG so I must be doin' something right. Seriously, every gig. I also get asked (a lot) to see my boutique amp or tube head & I just point to the rack & chuckle.

Tone is subjective, my friend. To tell people something sounds like crap is to tell them their food tastes bad. It's only your opinion & shouldn't be taken as rule.
