STEVE MORSE - TRUTHOLA off of Prime Cuts 2

I got the new Motorola droid phone and the Pandora app rocks.

type in a song or artist and it makes a non-stop "radio station" on your phone with related material.

I have a Joe Satriani channel that includes SRV, Freidman, Hoey, Morse, Vai, etc...

Todd Rundgren's "Utopia"

Which of their albums Huh?  IIRC, they never produced an album named Utopia, but I could be wrong..
FWIW, I used to have most of their albums, but let it all go at the vinyl divorse; got tired of the whole phychedelic period.
I did keep Ra; IMHO the best of their albums.  Reminds me I still need to find it on CD..

EDIT:  Geez!  Orm, I never knew about that album. Realy weird seeing them like this, looking pretty and all; a long shot from the psychedelic days to follow.

Boston: Third Stage
Totally love Tom's great singing guitar sound.  I often wish I could have his tone.  Such great upper-range harmonics clarity in contrast to todays downtuned growls.
And Brad's voice... Agreed  such a tragic way we lost a phenominal rock voice. RIP Brad, you're so missed..

Lucky you!  Say hi from me and tell him I always felt some interesting vibes when listening to his and Utopia's music Wink
I also had the album shown above in my collection.
Wonder what he's doing today.  At some point IIRC he was into computer programming, right?

I'm really digging this progressive band from NYC. One of the guys was at HC and I followed a link. I liked it so much I bought the DL, but you can listen to it for free here: http://www.shadowcircusmusic.com/

Do not be surprised if they're opening for Dream Theater in the future. Yes, they're that good.
