Yep, just finding them may be kinda hard, i emailed the address at the bottom of the pdf. in the link i posted, but no reply as of yet.
Every place i had found was a minimum order of a coupla hundred.

Tho i think other brands with basically the same specs will work, so...

I think i found a company in California that has an exact copy of the DV model, even has the same model number.
Same Dimensions everything as far as i can tell, however there is a discrepency in the specs, as the schematic and the written dimensions don't add up, however i emailed them about it.

Heres a link to the .pdf  http://www.pacificdisplay.com/cdm/CDM-16230.pdf

we'll see if they answer.

original

pin1 =5V
pin2=0V

this one

pin1=0V
pin2=5V

So you can't use it as a direct swap.

I just got my MP-2 fixed & I'm so glad....now comes the fun part of tweaking all the patches.

Anyhow, the display hasn't lit up for a loooonnnngg time now, and it appears to be losing contrast now Sad

Vansinn, have you found out anything about replacement displays?

I'm going blind trying to read my display...it sucks.

Ah c'mon dude, the main advantage of the A/DA user interface over those modern shizzlez found in more recent gear (i.e. multi-dropdown menus controlled by a rotary encoder) is that it's operable blindfolded :lol: Cheesy

Marshall and I have discussed various maybe-useful displays.  As much as I'd like to be the one eventually taking credit for a suitable cure to a known visually impairing industrial decease, it looks like MJP will be having the honour.  Sometime soon..  meaning that as a potentially promising replacement part has been ordered, still remains to be seen if it actually works.   Patience mon amis..
I did play the role of Sherlock, though, or was it Dr. Watson..  it's all a blur these days.  Lack of money does that to me Shrug

If MarshallJMP finds a suitable replacement display for my MP-2, I'm writing his name in for (US) President...wait, who would want that job?

Thanks JMP for all you do, we fellow ADA addicts appreciate it.  icon_bow

got my fingers crossed too
