ADA Microamp 100
Technical data taken from website:
The small, light-weight amp packs an ultra-clean 50
watts into 8 ohms (60 watts into 4 ohms), while weighing
a mere 8 pounds and measuring only 5-5/8" deep. In
bridged mode the amp delivers 100 watts into 8 ohms. Short
circuit and thermal protection and an internal cooling fan
provide "rock solid" performance in a "vintage
inspired" all-steel chassis with retro-look knobs and
switches.
The Microamp-100 is a vacuum-tube inspired solid-state design
primarily configured as a stereo guitar amp with its Presence
and Resonance controls. However, it performs transparently
and flawlessly as an amazing studio monitor amp when used
below clipping levels. Under either situation the MicroAmp-100
delivers 'bulletproof,' and consistent performance. The
wide frequency response is from 55 Hz up to and beyond 30kHz,
and the input sensitivity is 0.707 Vrms for full output.
There are two Headroom LED indicators, green at 30dB before
clipping and red, at 6 dB before clipping. It's a perfect
choice for guitarist/project studio owner who wants a stable
power amp that offers versatility, tubey distortion qualities
or ultra-clean performance.
